Hi Sweeties! Its Fab Fridays postings & we're back with more loooooves in the air. This time, we'd love to bring a little bit of Paris to your wedding with these scrumptious irresistible desserts! Well.. its what they call em' the Macarons! A Must-haves in most dessert-table weddings, these traditionally French inspired popular desserts is one sweets that will keep your guests happy at the wedding, or as a savory memoir take home gift. These beautifully colored loveys are instant melt in anyone's mouth  making them the perfect treat for your special day. With increasing demand of these sweet treats, many bakeries have gone beyond & above in creating new flavors, usages and presentation which can be custom-made into your wedding needs. The options are endless! And brides here's amongst few suggestions how to get macarons to rock' your wedding!

Hantaran Gifts

From the HEARTS. Its no doubt they have been a huge hit lately in the wedding market. Some say they make the perfect bring home gifts for the guests, nevertheless they certainly bring more good luck charm as hantaran gifts for the brides or groom during the gift exchange ceremony for the Malay weddings & engagements parties. Replacing cupcakes & some traditional sweets, macarons succeeded in bringing a new era in the wedding party industry, creating a new longlasting trend altogether. Question is; how long will this  fad last?

SWEET. Macarons come in an absolutely infinity varieties of flavors. You can name em': from the sweet traditional chocolate to fruity likes of raspberries & strawberries to the exotic tastes of passion fruits to new flavors such as coffee and green tea. Basically the idea of having these sweet tooth custom-made flavors are so wide ranged, that you can request for flavor combination you can think of.  Also why not feature a two variety flavor of macarons, each on the bride's and groom's favorite flavors.

COCKTAILS. Who says they cant be varied in a tasty cocktail delicacy version? Well.. its totally unique compared to traditional cocktails which was served at weddings; goodbyes jell-o shots, cocktail cupcakes and cocktail popsicles, making way for Cocktail macarons... which is a new upcoming trend! SALTY.  For those who are not so much into sweet tooth, but still would like to incorporate these pretty confections into your wedding, dont worry as thanks to some very creative and talented pastry chefs nowadays you can find macarons in non-sweet flavors such as popcorn, salted peanuts or perhaps in hor d vours manner (salmon quiche).

Being a fabulous wedding dessert has its unlimited usage for as long as your imagination can follow. Imagine them everywhere, that these lovelies, can be served as double purpose at your event.

Another fabulous way to make em' your desert treat for the guests which is by making em' a dessert plus ingredient. In weddings, presentation is all about everything. There can never be a detail which is too small even for desserts like macarons. Due to their wide range of colors & flavors, brides & wedding planners make the most of the macaron transformational abilities and personalize it to complement their wedding color scheme to themes and decor.

One thing amazing about macarons, is they can be made into any color or color combination to match your wedding color palette. Fantastic to custom-color, your baker can even add some metallic accents to bring out some sparkle, make them in different shades of the same color. Whether they're to match an ombre color theme or confection a multicolor variety or perhaps going for the rainbow effect, they're absolutely perfection to adore.

They too can be custom-themed according to the likes whether its based on movie inspirations like Breakfast at Tiffany's or Marie Antoinette, pretty lil shapes in hearts, squares & ovals, or perhaps lavender touches, vintage love birds theme,  yet they still are able to make a fabulous element that brings your wedding inspiration together.

A popular trend these days, monogram themes make a romantic do yet sparkles a vintage charm in a wedding. Having monogram on your wedding invitations, menus, decors etc, its no surprise - some brides are willing to take a step further in bringing em' to their desserts. Another famous decor idea would be the dessert tower of the macarons. However, this lovely idea isn't so much about the macarons themselves, which they are more commonly used as dessert table elements. In addition, more and more adventurous brides are choosing a macaron tower over the traditional wedding cake.

More fancy creative ways has been invented to make a fabulous serve. First up, mini tower made out of macarons of different sizes by Christophe Rousel. The second image used in a dessert table using macaroon as centerpieces by Kitchen Musigns ...lovely!  And last, the ring imitation serves- these beautiful cranberry macarons by Eddy Van Damme. Somehow they do remind of an engagement ring, which would make a lovely do in an engagement party or a bridal shower.
