Hi loves! Happy happy Mondays! Its awesome to have a comback of new week :) Whats more exciting is; we'd like to share these runway trends right before our eyes. (Thanks to Belle for the fab article) From here, you may get a hint what will be the favorites for 2012 wedding season. And none other than these gorgeous Blush gowns! For sometime its been a white bride, or a bold bride wearing a colored gown with the fancy details & embellishments…But today, lookout for the upcoming fad! Designers have decided that brides can have their option  - no more white, starting with a soft, elegant, super feminine pink. We think its an absolute brilliant giving the plenty remarriages, older couples get hitched or simple a bride who doesnt fancy white! Obviously the colors are modern and progressive, these dresses are flowy and aren’t over the top - perfect for either the classic or bold bride too!

Hello beautiful! Hows it going there? Having a blues-week? Here's one posting that gona make your week more awesome and awesome! Anyways, last Fab fridays we talked about gigantic blooms on 'How they got oversized. here' And then we add more in {Trend Alert} for trending towards fabric flowers. So today, as promised, we want to feature another DIY to get your very own gigantic bloom! Basically this tutorial is also another follow-up to our previous DIY Gigantic Rose.
So, its been abuzz everywhere in weddings.. including Martha Stewart Weddings on how to fashion your own blooms. Today's ginormous blooms seem to be having their own special momentare, created of crepe paper and other nonfloral elements. —On contrary, they’re quite fun as photo props and serves well as ceremony markers (dais pelamin) or even centerpieces. Let's applause to these gorgeous creative hands of Ruche, which they recently shared the hows at Design*Sponge. I find them so easy peasy and refreshing to make!

Creatives Tuesdays: DIY Paper Stars

Hello lovelies! Hows the week goin? Hope its a good one. We DIY Creatives are back! and this time posting we want focus on Paper Decor & Stuff. So, have you heard of Origami? Origami is a traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century AD and was popularized outside Japan in the mid-1900s, which then has evolved into a modern art form. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of material into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami. Origami in weddings has been quite popular these days with many brides has chose to personalise their wedding decors with these art forms. To the fact Origami is also known as its longevity which means the more it is; forever it is. Scroll down to see the effect of origami in wedding photos below. Quite beautiful! The couple had over 1,000 origamis which they believed to mean 1,000 years of love.. So, for today we want to bring a type of Origami Stars! Here's DIY explanation of how to fold one of these stars. Thanks to designer Paolo Bascetta for this awesome tutorial!
