{Trend Alert!} Lace sleeves Lovelies

Get Kate's Look: Lace Long-Sleeved Wedding Dresses

The Images of the Royal Wedding (despite its almost 1 year already) are still all over the place, and everyone is talking about the stunning lace wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen that Kate wore for the big day. Sigh.. we dont think there is any other more appropriate dress than this for the Duchess of Cambridge! So lady-like & perfect!
So move over sexy sexy dresses cos' the less is more wedding fashion is back!.. and look out 2012.. .thanks to Kate; we foresee this gonna be BIG TREND for 2012.. its gona be a massive!
Our souce from Belle the Magazine quoted:  "Delicate-looking yet strong, and rich with history, lace is sort of like the bride herself. It covers while revealing, and can add a touch of centuries-gone-by grace to your wedding ensemble. A bride who wears lace pays tribute to a time-honored tradition."

One thing irony is, these sleeves wedding dresses has been a custom wear for the Malay society all this while & it has been a norm for the malay brides to opt for sleeves in the malay weddings. So was it a big trend for 2012 or simply waiting to re-discovered by big shot designers? We’re not sure. Who knows.

But one thing for sure, Kate's Royal Wedding long-sleeved wedding dress has finally sink in the wedding fashion trend and are currently displayed at the Buckingham Palace for the public viewing.
So, for those who wana keep up with the sleeves trend, here are a few great options.

Let's begin the lace parade with my favorite three dresses, all of them from Romona Keveza Spring 2012

Do you recognize this dress? Such a classic vintage & it belongs to designer Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 Bridal Collection.
