Creatives Tuesdays: DIY Carnation Pomander

Ola loves! In continuation to our yesterday posting on {Trend Alert!} on the Come back of Carnations wedding decor, we found this brilliant DIY idea for your carnation flower arrangement. (Credits to book, “Flower Arranging” by Mark Welford and Stephen Wicks). The following easy steps are perfect for the hands-on brides who loves DIY wedding floral decor and the ideas are fairly simple to recreate.
green carnation floral pomander
Lately we love the fact that Floral Carnation Pomanders are always IN style.  They're quite useful as aisle decor, table decor, centrepieces, perhaps carried by a young bridesmaid during the ceremony or simply as hanging decor on tents or garden tree at the wedding reception – lovely for a country theme.
The photographs here show green carnations – although of course these flowers come in a myriad of colours so you can mix and match - or use contrasting blooms. Moreover they can be dyed as well as according your wedding theme. awesome isnt it?  The best part about these lovely blooms, they are are generally available all-year-round, which is perfect for your wedding planning.  Now let's get busy..

carnation wedding topiary
Pink carnation topiaries from pd Bloom.
Morning mondays loves! We're glad the week has returned & we're so excited to have more inspirations this week!.. and ASIAN Brides.. oh boy we got a Suprise coming up for you! Stay tuned to our updates later today okays...
Before this morning we never would have thought that these lovelies could look so lavish. All this while they're known for their budget / boring / too simple statement.. and, after seeing these images wow... we become such a fan! So forget about the boring & old decors- move over other blooms - cos the Carnations are making a comeback and this time Sweet with Vengence!

Credits to Belle
There are a few things that make carnations very attractive for weddings...
Let's hear em out--- First and foremost, they are easy on the pocket compared to other types of flowers. So if you are a bride on a budget they are a beautiful cost-cutting solution.  Second, they come in hundreds of natural vibrant colors: purple, pink, red, orange, cream or blue shades. Plus they can be artificially colored, as well! (so you can dye em'up as according your theme palette). And last but not least, they last looong... once carnations are in full bloom they can stay fresh and fragrant for up to 3 weeks!

So brides-to-be, if you choose carnations for your wedding decor, we got a  Trick to make this budget-friendly flower look like a million bucks... Simple! Use these carnations in lush groupings of the SAME COLOR.

With a little creativity and the right amount of style, sky is the limit with carnations. Take a look at these gorgeous carnation arrangements and now we can understand why they have returned with victory!

{Trend Alert!} Rufflelicious decor

Hi loves! We loooooove all about frills & ruffles!...One thing’s for sure: ruffles adorned wedding dresses will always be in style & a fairytale princess trend. Moreover, these feminine frills are so IN, that they can be seen in virtually every bridal designer’s lookbook.(Credits to Belle)
In addtion, this post is about a new re-invention of the use of the ruffles. Again, these designers have gone beyond their creativity, no more just wedding gowns but also in wedding decor! So for those of you who planning a wedding – personally we predict that these ruffles will not only be among the hottest trends, but also they will be bigger than ever.

IB#114: Classic garden for me & you

Image Snippet & Ink
One of our favorite color combinations is one of the simplest: pink and blue. We couldnt agree more right? We love the combo of hot pink with navy, or maybe hot pink and aqua, or today, simply pale peachy pink with French blue. Reminds us of a sweet, classic, and perfect for a wedding garden event. In addtion, hang a crystal chandelier from a tree to dress things up, or perhaps place various vintage bottles of tulips on tables to dress things down. Plus what can it be more perfect with the detail of lacing the groom’s shoes with blue laces?

Fab fridays: 6 Stylish Ways to create a Whimsical wedding

Ola you fab sweethearts! Its fab fridays & we loove getting all the ideas for your wedding inspirations. And for those of you with chic style lovers, we got another installment for sophisticated wedding ideas.. using "Paper Flowers"… which create a dreamy yet whimsical fairytale looklike wedding. Lets see how to incorporate these lovelies into your wedding in a super-stylish way.(Credits Belle)
1. Bouquets: If a bouquet entirely made out of paper flowers is too informal or whimsy for you. Consider the idea of incorporating paper flowers into a brooch bouquet. You would fit in the trend while maintaining the glamour on your look. On the other hand, if you’re still into natural flowers, brooch and paper or just paper bouquets, like theses gems, are excellent options for your bridesmaids.
